Schizophrenia affects approximately 24 million people or 1 in 300 people (0.32%) worldwide. For some, the symptoms are a lot worse than for others. Shockingly, people with schizophrenia are 2 to 3 times more likely to die early than the general population!
On this episode, we are talking with Kahlia Bersson, National Director of Telehealth Services for Banyan Treatment Centers but Kahlia also has a close tie to schizophrenia as her brother suffers from the disease.
